This work is kind of old, but i didn't want to post it until now. I'm already at 150/250 of the box challenge too, so i've seen some improvement in straight lines at least, but it's not too far from what i've done here. Also I feel I need to practice more ellipses after this.
HOLY GOD THESE LINES ARE AMAZING!! You've done the work perfectly! you make perfect boxes and lines however im seeing a tiny weeny bit of struggle with ellipses! and from what I learnt while drawing these spherical demons is that consistency is key, keep drawing some moons and spoons and eventually you'll draw them on a whim! and try to familiarize yourself with the motion of the circle rather than the shape itself, it might be a little weird but it helps a lot. overall I dont think you should be worrying about anything because you've done everything well! you will find a ton of improvements if you keep going with the lessons. BEST OF LUCK!!! :D
Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"
It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
