Hello and congrats on completing lesson 1 I’ll be taking a look at your homework submission. Starting with your superimposed lines these are nice and confidently drawn. Your accuracy isn’t there yet but that will improve the more you draw. Moving onto your ghosted lines I’m seeing a tiny bit of wobble here but nothing that really concerns me. You appear to be ghosting and going for smooth straight lines and once again your accuracy is a little off but will improve over time. I’m seeing the same good habits carried over to your planes which is nice to see and I am already seeing some improvement in regards to accuracy.
Moving onto your ellipse tables these are pretty good for the most part. You are getting some nice even shapes on some of these and your accuracy of staying in the bounds of the box is pretty good as well. I’m seeing a few instances where you didn’t draw through your ellipses though. This is a really important concept you always want to remember as you work through these lessons. Always make sure you are drawing through your ellipses even if you think you got it right the first time through. Your ellipses in planes are looking even better but I’m still seeing an issue where you aren’t always drawing through. ALWAYS draw through your ellipses when working through these assignments. Your funneled ellipses are getting quite a bit of wobble and slanting off the minor axis so that is something you want to try and be more mindful of. All that said I think your ellipses could still use some work so I would try focusing on them a bit more in warmups.
Your plotted perspective looks fine. Looking at your rough perspective I’m seeing a few issues here. A few of your lines seem quite wobbly and rushed compared to others. I’m wondering if you are trying to draw a bit more quickly and ghost a bit less. Always make sure you are ghosting your lines. It's a great habit to get into and will improve your accuracy with every mark. Another thing to look out for is that in a one point perspective drawing all horizontal lines are parallel to the picture plane which you are adhering to for the most part. But I’m seeing issues with your vertical lines having a bit of slant in some places. They should always be straight up and down in one point perspective and this might come back to that issue of not ghosting enough. The big issue here though is that you didn’t extend your lines back correctly. You don’t want to extend the lines back to the vp instead you want to simply extend the lines back on your box itself to check yourself to see how off your estimation is. It’s covered here in the lesson and I recommend you give it another look. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/15/plottinglines
Nice job on the rotated boxes this is a very hard exercise and you followed the instructions very well. You’ve kept nice narrow and consistent gaps between your boxes and have drawn through on all of them. The biggest issue you are having is that you aren’t actually rotating your boxes but instead moving them back in perspective. This is a very common beginner mistake and will improve as you have a better understanding of 3d space. I’d recommend taking a look back at this part of the lesson. https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/16/notrotating Looking at your organic boxes I’m not seeing any hugely glaring issues. Your boxes could definitely use some improvement regarding convergences but that will be helped a lot by going through the 250 box challenge. One small tip I would give you though is to not be so heavy on adding lineweight and when you do add lineweight try using the ghosting method to increase accuracy.
Overall, you did a good job working through the lesson and I’m giving you the okay to move on to the 250 box challenge.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.
In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
