Ellipse Template Size for 25 Wheel

8:40 PM, Tuesday May 11th 2021

So the ellipse template i got seems too small. the largest options being around 1.5 inches.

Is this indeed too small for the 25 wheel challenge?

if so is there an affordable option you recommend that is larger?

While it is objectively small, that is generally the kind of ellipse template that students use for the wheel challenge - simply because in order to get into a larger size, you start requiring a full set of ellipses, which gets very expensive. From the sound of it, what you have is probably a 'master' ellipse template, which covers a variety of degrees, but is limited in its size options.

Do your best to work with the ellipse guide you have.

I'll do plenty of small ones with template and ill try my luck free hand at some larger ones towards the end.

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
