one thing that stuck out to me was the line work in some of the boxes. they seemed to quiver a little - make sure you are drawing from your shoulder. also, try to avoid going over the lines a second time - the purpose of this is to take ownership of the mistakes and learn from them. also, when you go over the lines it makes the line darker and draws attention to it. other than that, things are looking really good! :)

Hey! Good job with lesson 1!

I agree with the other critique, two main problems are that you are fixing your lines and in rough perspective I see a lot of wobbly lines: https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/9/wobbling

Just want to say that it's ok if you make a mistake and line goes accidentally wrong, leave it there for learning :)

Next Steps:

Next step is 250 box challenge, good luck!

Cottonwood Arts Sketchbooks

These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
