Hello,

Here is my submission for the 250 Boxes challenge. i think it has helped me to have a better understanding of space and estimate to the vanishing point. it was really hard to do but very worth it.

Thank you in advance for your help and feed back :).

Hey, nice work finishing the challenge!

Your boxes show pretty nice improvement through the challenge, which is why I'm a bit sad you didn't extend all your lines. I'm sure you made good use of the extensions you did finish, I can see that you did, which is why I'm going to ask you to go back and extend all of your lines. Every box as three sets of parallel lines and you need to consider all of them for the box as a whole to work properly. There really is no parallel to how helpful seeing how the extended lines interact with each other (and the box) is. It will take your skills to the next level!

Next Steps:

Like I said, I would like you to go back and extend all of your lines from the whole challenge, not all at once, maybe around 50 a day and then draw 5 more boxes after each day to see what you've learned. After a week you'll have some remarkable results! In the end you'll have around 25 new boxes (with all of their lines extended too) and a lot more skill.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

I think if you re-uploaded your boxes with the proper extension lines that would be helpful! Feel free to link your new album here and I can review it along with your new boxes :) no need to make a new post imo

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
