Hello, congratulation on finishing lesson 1. I'll be only pointing out the thing that needs to be improved and Here are my observations:

  1. Ghosted Lines

Some of the lines here are arching or curved, Make sure to use your shoulder when execute the line and try to arch consciously to the opposite direction.

  1. Ghosted Planes

I see some of the sides of the plane have repeated line, it seems like you trying connect the line that doesn't meet the endpoint or you trying to fix your line. Make sure try to execute your line in one go, remember confidence flow over accuracy, and don't try to fix your line, keep it as it is no matter how bad you wanna fix it.

  1. Ellipses

Make sure to draw through ellipses 2 to 3 times, (2 times preferably). The other issue I see here is the gap between the lines of the ellipses is too wide but that is okay since is to be expected, that the more you do this as warm-up, the more your ellipses wil tighten up.

  1. Boxes

For the boxes section exercise, I'm not sure if you were trying to make the lines thicker or fix them, if it's the former then practice superimposed lines with ghosting more, if it's the latter then don't do that. Keep the line even if it's bad no matter how bad you wanna fix it. I see correction fluid being used in this excercise, if you use this to make correction to your homework than you better not be, because making mistake is the core element of this whole course so if you try correct some of your mistake you will losing the most important one.

Next Steps:

250 Box Challenge

The recommendation below is an advertisement. Most of the links here are part of Amazon's affiliate program (unless otherwise stated), which helps support this website. It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.
PureRef

PureRef

This is another one of those things that aren't sold through Amazon, so I don't get a commission on it - but it's just too good to leave out. PureRef is a fantastic piece of software that is both Windows and Mac compatible. It's used for collecting reference and compiling them into a moodboard. You can move them around freely, have them automatically arranged, zoom in/out and even scale/flip/rotate images as you please. If needed, you can also add little text notes.

When starting on a project, I'll often open it up and start dragging reference images off the internet onto the board. When I'm done, I'll save out a '.pur' file, which embeds all the images. They can get pretty big, but are way more convenient than hauling around folders full of separate images.

Did I mention you can get it for free? The developer allows you to pay whatever amount you want for it. They recommend $5, but they'll allow you to take it for nothing. Really though, with software this versatile and polished, you really should throw them a few bucks if you pick it up. It's more than worth it.
