PLEASE GIVE HARSH CRITIQUE!
Looks great to me! I don't think I can give harsh feedback because I'm super new. But for the daisy where you wondered if you should make the middle less bold, what if you added more boldness to the petals and external parts of the flower? Might frame it better and you wouldn't lose the eye in the middle right away?
The mushrooms look great!
For the Daisy thats a good idea or I could do both! Thanks for the critique!
Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
