Hello I am JustCuteGirlz and I will be doing your Lesson 1 review.

Overall fantastic job with these exercises. I was unable to find any issues that would prevent me from passing you, however I do have something you can work on:

  • Throughout the exercises your lines were drawn with confidence until you got to the rotated boxes exercise (this is not surprising its the most difficult exercise of Lesson 1). With this being said I would like you to try to recognize the signs of when your lines will be wobbly and attempt to allivate it.

You are ready to move on to the 250 box challenge. If you could pass on my kindness to review someone else who needs a lesson 1 review I would be most appreciative.

    Good luck to you,

    JustCuteGirlz

Next Steps:

-Start the 250 box challenge

-Give someone else a lesson 1 review

Thanks so much for the much awaited review! Hope that my own reviews can be as helpful as yours!

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
