Hi.

In your superimposed lines exercise, both sides are untidy, ideally on one side you start by scratching from one point, while on the other side the lines diverge a little.

In the Phantom Lines I see that the lines are arching a little, if you are already using your shoulder to draw, try arching a little in the opposite direction, you will see that the lines will be straighter.

In most of your ellipses you are doing much more than three laps, the ideal number is 2-3 laps.

In Ghosted Planes some lines are arching too much, remember that before the exercises it is good to warm up by practicing the previous exercises. The same criticism applies to the Box exercises, in which the lines are a little unsteady, remember that flow is more important than accuracy.

If you put a shadow in the exercise of the rotated boxex, the design will be more understandable.

You did well in this lesson, but to continue with the challenge of 250 boxes, I suggest redoing the last exercise of organic perspective with straighter lines and without worrying so much about accuracy, remember to put points to help you where to place your lines .

I hope it helped, this is my second review on this site. I think your repetition of the last exercise will help you in the next drawings, until today I redo the exercises in lesson 1 to help me better understand the fundamentals of drawing

Next Steps:

Redo the last exercise of organic perspective, try to put points to guide you where to put lines and don't worry too much about acurracy. also, it is good to do 5 minute warm up with the first exercises.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Heya! Thanks for the advice, I personally have being noticing my trembling lines, specially when I'm using ink. I'll give more emphasis on practicing the early exercises and redo the organic perspective one asap. Again, thank you!

You're welcome! remember to reply me with the drawing whenever you're done so I can mark your lesson as complete.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
