Lines are pretty confident in general, good job! You haven't tried any curving superimposed lines, so I recommend you start doing them. They are very useful as well!

You aren't drawing starting and ending dots on each line you draw. On the ghosted planes for example, there are some lines where you didn't place it. Be careful with that, as it's pretty important to apply the ghosting method.

Ellipses are as well pretty confident in general, good job here too!

In boxes you're doing a pretty good job too, with the added issue that you are repeating some lines. No matter how off a line is, don't forget not to repeat it.

In organic perspective, when adding lineweight, you should do it with a confident superimposed line, don't just trace over it. When adding this line as well, you should only add it into the specific parts of the line that overlap. You shouldn't do it over the whole line. Perspective on your boxes have issues, but you'll work on it on the box challenge, do don't worry about it!

Next Steps:

Good job overall. Keep going to the box challenge while remembering about not repeating lines. Good luck!

Thank you so much for your such deep feed back i will keep this in mind as i keep working and try to retrain for repeating my lines, which i think happens automatically when i'm not happy with my first line. Thank you very much :)

The Art of Brom

The Art of Brom

Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.

The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
