Lesson 3: Applying Construction to Plants

Going to the next chapter!
Organic Arrows
Your arrows are confidently drawn & smooth. I can also see that you've tried to do the lineweight neart he curves, which is good just try not to trace the previous mark slowly as they leave wobbly lines.
Leaves
Your leaves are following the flow line for most part(other than sometimes in folded ones) You should try doing more folded leaves in your future warm ups as I didn't see much variety here. Use references if you can.
Branches
These brances could use some ellipses near extreme curves, like you should be maintaining uniform distance between the edges of branches & having more ellipses in between would help.
Plants
These palnts drawing are good, leaves & petals are following their flow line most of the time.
You've also kept the part of plants enclosed in it's planned ellipse.
In #1 the leaves are not following their flow lines, especially the folded ones, try to do them more than usual in your warm ups.
Especially the drawing marked as #4 has a good construction. For #3 & #5 if those lines that seems kind of stray are part of the construction then it's okay but try to not have any chicken scratchy lines in your drawings(especially in #5).
Overall you've done the lesson as instructed though it would be good if you improve on branches a bit
Next Steps:
Congrats on completing lesson 3, feel free to start lesson 4. Please continue to work on branches & folded leaves whenver you can, also exercises from previous lesson & challenge in your warm ups. Good luck with lesson 4.
Thanks for kind and detailed feedback.
I get your point.
I'll keep on practicing branches and folded leaves(I'll check the lesson about folded leaves once again)
'#5'.. I knew I was using lots of chicken scratches and I'm glad you pointed that out.
Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.
The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
