They look pretty good but one of the instructions is 5 or 6 per page. This is critical both for clarity ( avoiding too many overlapping lines ) and for having enough variation ie a lot of your boxes are of a similar size and are medium to extreme angles. Having less extreme angles and bigger boxes is a challenge in itself because the vanishing points will be way off the page.

That said I think you have got the rest of the concept.

Next Steps:

I would recommend doing another 50 where the boxes are more varied in size ( more large ) and with less extreme angles ie closer to straight on view.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Staedtler Pigment Liners

Staedtler Pigment Liners

These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.

Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
