Partial Lesson 1 Submission (3 / 10 exercises)
9:37 AM, Monday March 30th 2020
Hey guys,
this is my very first step into drawing. I have no prior experience and I started 2 days ago when my Wacom One tablet arrived. I started doing the exercises right after plugging it in.
The first 2 papers I did on day1. Ghostedlines on day 2 and ghostedplanes each half on day 2 and 3.
I decided to draw with a tablet because I never plan to draw non-digitally. I've read the warnings given on https://drawabox.com/article/ink.
I tried to do follow all orders and paid attention to find a comfortable angle and tried to draw from the shoulder.
superimposedlines1
The first lines I ever drawn in my life
Not used to use any pencil anymore
Had to get started using a drawing tablet
Started using red for the original line
I zoomed and turned the canvas as I wanted to experiment some
Paid attention to draw from the shoulder. Less from the elbow. None from the wrist.
superimposedlines2
Did it right after the first paper
Got more confidence in doing lines
But also around in the second half became impatient and started rushing
Reverted roughly half all drawn lines because they went too horrible
The wrist did hurt some at the end, probably because I kept it stiff
ghostedlines
I rotated and zoomed the canvas quite deliberatly
I used the proper time to ghosting, on average 5 tries before doing my mark
I almost didn't revert any lines. Maybe around 5 marks on the whole paper.
Did it one day after my superimposed lines.
ghostedplanes
Almost lost the motivation
Took a long time and it was not easy
Made bigger boxes at the end to not give up
A lot of turning canvas but followed the advice to to do to the strokes at a 45 degree upward right angle
I didn't do any 50% fun drawing since I have never drawn for fun and don't have any clue what to do
Also I didn't do any warmups because it's the first exercise. I plan to do warmups with lesson 1 content at lesson 2
I'm always on Discord and available for chat and PMs.
