These are a big improvement, don't forget to draw through all of your ellipses though.

It can definitely be a lot to absorb but remember that each lesson builds on the others so you gotta try to keep concepts in mind. It's a big reason we stress to take your time and build up muscle memory through warm ups as well

I'll be moving you on to lesson 3, keep doing previous exercises as warm ups and good luck.

Next Steps:

Do previous exercises as warm ups.

Move on to lesson 3.

This critique marks this lesson as complete.

Thank you Tofu! (I realized after submission that I should have drawn the ellipses completely. My bad)

I'll do more warm up exercises. I think my work would benefit from that, and not sure why I didn't think of that. Thank you again!

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
