Hi, great job on finishing Lesson 1!

Starting off with your Superimposed Lines, there's some slight fraying at the beginning of your plotted lines, it isn't a major problem but just make sure you're taking the time to put your pen down on the point and executing your line. Onto your Ghosted Lines and Ghosted Planes, your lines tend to wobble and slightly arch. When you ghost your lines and draw them, don't slow down mid way while drawing or worry about how you might mess up. Simply ghost the line then execute it swiftly. To avoid arching, this may mean that you aren't using your shoulder and might be using your elbow instead. To avoid from making this a habit, what I did was to lift my elbow off the table which help me use my shoulder. It might be uncomfortable at first but will get better in time. Consistent practice and progressing throughout DaB will also improve your line confidence so no need to fret so much now. I suggest taking time before doing exercises to do Ghosted Lines or Ghosted Planes for like 10-15 minutes to work on your line confidence. This'll greatly help you in the long run as it definitely helped for me.

On your Table of Ellipses, they are honestly very well drawn and show that you are very confident in drawing your lines. The same goes for your Ellipses in Planes and funnels. A slight issue with your funnels, is that some of the ellipses are kind of drawn at an angle which misaligns them with the minor axis. Be aware of how you're ghosting and if needed, you can rotate the page to make it more comfortable for you to ghost.

Onto your Boxes, great job on Plotted Perspective and Rough Perspective, it's clear you understand the concept of what a vanishing point is. On your Rotated Boxes, don't use a pencil to shade. DaB is to be mainly done with the use of a pen, don't use a pencil. When you want to show which side is facing the viewer on a box, you should hatch the lines. https://drawabox.com/lesson/250boxes/1/lineweight I suggest reading this to get a better understanding. On your Organic Perspective, don't feel the need to redo your line if you messed up. It's alright, and you should move onto the next line.

Overall, your Lesson 1 is good and I believe you're ready to move onto the 250 Box Challenge. The problems I've pointed out can be resolved with time, practice, and awareness. Good luck on the 250 Box Challenge !! :D

The recommendation below is an advertisement. Most of the links here are part of Amazon's affiliate program (unless otherwise stated), which helps support this website. It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.
Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
