Hello I’ll be handling the critique for your 250 box challenge.

Linework

-You are using the ghosting method to good effect as your lines are confident while maintaining good accuracy, and it has definitely helped your boxes look more solid and believable. It is great to see that you have used hatching and it is looking tidy rather than rushed and finally I think you did not add lineweight to your boxes it is not necessary but you want to get used to it, the important thing to keep in mind is that you should be very subtle with it, and only add one superimposed line. Take a look at this diagram and try to use lineweight on your future practices

Box Construction

-You have used the line extension method correctly, and most of your sets of lines converge, which is correct. I did notice very few instances where you had diverging lines, you should avoid this at all costs, try to take a look at this image which shows the relationship between each pair of lines and the angles they form respective to their vanishing point.

-Some of the first boxes of your set also show parallel lines, remember that due to perspective our lines should always converge even if it is just slightly, they will never be completely parallel or diverge. Some of the later boxes of the set do not show this mistake and your sets of lines converge always.

.-Aside from this issues, your estimations to the vanishing point are pretty accurate and you have plenty of boxes that hit very closely to the exact mark, just keep an eye out for lines converging in pairs as shown here. The more you practice the better you will get at this and your lines will converge in sets rather than pairs.

-I think you stuck mostly to boxes with dramatic rates of foreshortening, with their vanishing points closely by, I’d like you to practice more with shallow rates of foreshortening. I’d also like you to keep experimenting with the orientation of the boxes, if you have trouble imagining or visualizing them, take a look at this image which shows different orientations which you can try.

Those are the things you need to keep working on, you did a nice work here so congratulations upon completing 250 boxes I’ll go ahead and mark this lesson as complete.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
