Hey cloudsandcups! just wanted to suggest for the ghost line drill, switching up and positions and angles more frequently - this is what I did and it looks really chaotic and messy but it also helped me to learn to turn my paper more often to find the optimal angle of execution. I think it's helpful too to find the most natural arm positioning, moving in and out of this position more frequently will help solidify the pattern and it will (hopefully) become second nature. Good work!

Next Steps:

please follow the advice given above if you find it helpful...I feel weird sending a "revision request" but maybe just keep these things in mind during practice or warm up.

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Faber Castell PITT Artist Pens

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
