Hello Lucian,

I think that your organic perspective is ok, but you made some mistakes in Rotated Boxes and Elipses. So, my recomendations is:

Try the Rotated Boxes again, including the theory. Some boxes don't rotate completely.

Try the Elipses again. Some elipses don't touch the limits

And warmups. You can pratice ghosted plans with elipses, 10 minutes is sufficient for increase muscle memory.

Next Steps:

10 minutes of Warmups

1 filled page of Rotated Boxes

1 filled page of Elipses

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.

The rotated boxes was definitely the hardest exercises for me. The ellipses were challenging too, so I would definitely like to improve on them.

I'll come back with them!

Here's the work you suggested:

I think there's an improvement in the elipses side.

Not sure about rotated boxes, I definitely found 2-3 mistakes I made the first time I did it. This time I had some difficulties with the far edges.

Notheless was a very insightful experience finding mistakes in the previuos work.

Nice improvement in ellipses and rotated boxes. Your mistakes are, basically, perspective and lines accuracy, both of that will be improved in 250 boxes challenge.

Don't forget the warmups, and good luck in the 250 boxes challenge

Next Steps:

10-15 minutes of Warmups

250 boxes challenge

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

Pentel Pocket Brush Pen

This is a remarkable little pen. Technically speaking, any brush pen of reasonable quality will do, but I'm especially fond of this one. It's incredibly difficult to draw with (especially at first) due to how much your stroke varies based on how much pressure you apply, and how you use it - but at the same time despite this frustration, it's also incredibly fun.

Moreover, due to the challenge of its use, it teaches you a lot about the nuances of one's stroke. These are the kinds of skills that one can carry over to standard felt tip pens, as well as to digital media. Really great for doodling and just enjoying yourself.
