Couple notes:

The first page I misunderstood the exercise so I used a ruler for the front facing plane. I also succumbed and used arm drawing for the shortest lines.

The second page is entirely freehand and 100% shoulder.. And it looks horrible. I can't for the life of me do straight, short lines from the shoulder. Maybe one day!

Nicely done~ Though it may not look it, the second page is a step in the right direction (and, really, fairly solid.)

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
