Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes
12:20 PM, Wednesday February 3rd 2021
Hi there, thank you for passing by! I would greatly appreciate any feedback on my homework submission for Drawabox Lesson 01.
Hello there,
i must say overall a really really great job. I can only give you my insight on a few tiny things you should look out for.
In the lines section sometimes your lines get wobbly and you should always priorities straight lines over them, plus some swaying but you will get the hang of it with more practice.
Onto the elpises sometimes you draw like 4+ times through them its preferable to do it 2 times.
All i can say about your boxes are that they are great especially the rotated ones.
Nothing else comes to my mind, so i can only wish you good luck with the 250 Boxes.
Hi Eny,
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my work, it's much appreciated!
I'll keep your critique regarding the wobbly lines and elipses in mind, thank you for pointing this out.
I noticed while working on the elipses that I found myself a little rusty, and therefore my confidence was kinda lacking while drawing them. I've since practiced more (without grinding!) and hope to do better once elipses are back on the menu.
I've since moved on to the 250 boxes challenge and am currently at 37/250, taking it fairly slow. I hope to speed up a little during the coming weekend.
Thanks once again!
These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
