Sorry for the partial submission but I have a few questions about these drawings and a few notes Id like your opinion on.
The organic forms arent perfect but I think I can see Improvement. I tried drawing circles for the ends on the first form on each page to warm up which I think helped.
One problem I'm having with forms in general thats noticeable in my drawings is form accuracy. You pointed out in the original post that there is tapering in many of the forms, Im trying to draw my forms the same width the whole way through but they still come out with tapering and stretching. You can also see that the circles I drew as guides turned out more like ovals.
I looked through the lesson and demos again and I think this new drawing is much better than the last ones. Im wondering if theres anything I missed that I should or shouldnt be doing.
There is still a tiny bit of scratchy lines, mostly in the legs but over all Im doing better about it.
I tried adding line weight to the shrimp drawing, I've only ever really done line weight digitally. Some of it turned out ok but a lot of it came out looking other wobbly or scratchy. Any advice on how I should be approaching this? would it be a good idea to use a brush pen for adding line weight?
I think the proportions also came out better in the shrimp, the only glaring issues is the "horn" on top is too big.
please let me know if there is anything i missed.
