Some boxes didn't go as planned but at least I got them done. There are some lines of the xyz exes that are wrong and when I realized it was way too late to go back and try again. I wish I would have submitted sooner but it was hard because too many exams. Anyway, thanks for the future replies!

Hi!

I am doing some critique for you.

Good job finishing the 250 box challenge!

You have much improved through the lesson

Your lines are really smooth and confident. You did the hatching really well. The use of line weight has also often gone well. Try to apply only line-weight on the silhouette of the box.

You have done very well to draw the extension lines, sometimes they are drawn towards you. Try to keep in mind that the extension lines are always going away from the viewer.

you understand well how to draw a box and this has been improved throughout the lesson.

Finally, it is good for next time to practice a little more with extreme foreshortening with the 250 cylinder challenge.

You did a really good job!

Next Steps:

You can move on to lesson 2 , Goodluck!

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
