Thank you for offering critique, I'm a lot more practiced in my wrist, but not so with my shoulder and it's likely showing in my line confidence and accuracy, which I am working on (though I fight the urge to cheat with my wrist ;) )

My bad on not drawing the boxes all the way through, I totally spaced on that and was happy to fix that up.

No problem! Thank you for doing this, they look great! :) Yeah, I'm not as trained in my shoulder either like I like to be, still learning too. But with enough practice you'll be able to get there, and it will be become easier, keep pushing through. So, I'm gonna pass you and you may move on to the 250 box challenge.

Next Steps:

So, a recommendation I can give, is do some warm-ups when doing each session of the 250 box challenge. They will help a lot. You can also use lesson 1 exercises to do the warm-ups, I suggest you do the ghosted lines and ghosted planes for this challenge, but feel free to do the others. Good job and keep up the good work! :)

This community member feels the lesson should be marked as complete, and 2 others agree. The student has earned their completion badge for this lesson and should feel confident in moving onto the next lesson.

It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
