Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes
8:42 PM, Thursday December 17th 2020
Took me a few weeks but was fun, criticism is appreciated.
ghosted lines
in this exercise you are supposed to draw the line from one point to the other. but its seems like you don't know about that or you cannot connect. but you should bring the line till the ending even though it's not straight
rough perspective
i can't really tell what you did here. you have a vanishing point and you drew the boxes next you are supposed to trace that lines from the corners to see if it converges. but you didn't do that. idk whether u drew and rubbed or u didn't really do it.

I told you only the mistakes
Next Steps:
do rough perspective again with the converging
It looks like you are learning a lot in the process so please don't get discouraged, but you will need to redo the rough perspective as noted with the follow through lines, it's important to see how far off you are on your lines in order to learn. I also thing you should consider redoing the funnel lesson the elipses in the middle are supposed to start very narrow and get wider as you move out. Compare your version to the one in the lesson if you don't understand. It doesn't look like you did the very first lesson properly either, but I don't think it's worth holding you up over that. Just be more carefull to both watch the video and read the lessons to make sure you are doing them properly.
This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.
I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.
No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
