Hello! I am Doctormein And I'll be critiquing your work today.

Lines.

Superimposed Line.

Your Superimposed line is great there is no fraying on both end and your superimposed line are also confident

Ghosted Lines

Your Ghosted lines are confident but you seem to Overshoot Quite a lot. So i recommend trying to fix overshooting while doing those exercises as a warmup would be great.

And You seem to repeat the same line in ghosted line. Always leave the line was it is. and don't repeat the same line

While this is very minor i still think you should kept it in mind

While i can still see some small wobbling. i think you'll fix that with time. but it still worth mentioning.

Ghosted Planes

The Ghosted Planes exercises show clear sign of improvement upon the Ghosted line exercise.

The Problem with overshooting seem to evaporate with this exercise so good job! you still have some problem from the previous exercise. like repeating the same line But its very minor and you seem to fix your major problem of overshooting.

Ellipses

Table Of Ellipses

The Table of Ellipses are done nicely and the Ellipses are close with each other confidently drawn and kept within bound.

But I see quite a few ellipses that weren't being draw through 2 time. All Ellipses must be drawn through at least 2 times if you did drawn through it 2 time then don't worry about this critique.

Ellipses in Plane

The Ellipses in plane are done nicely. They were drawn confidently and touching the boundaries. Though there are some ellipses that i see with the same problem as the last exercises. But still those are well done.

Funnels

Your funnels exercises are great! There are still some Minor Axis (https://drawabox.com/lesson/1/14/notaligned) but those are very Minor. and the exercise still well done nonetheless.

Boxes

Plotted perspective.

Of course its nicely done.

Rough perspective

In rough perspective you seem to be Unsure and seem to Repeated the line Quite a lot.

And there are some boxes that the Width Line aren't parallel to the Horizon lines and Height line aren't perpendicular to the horizon Though I am pretty sure those are because you are a bit nervous with this exercise (Which i did at first too) I still think you should kept it in mind if you did it intentionally.

Rotated Boxes

Though this exercise result is pretty irrelevant i still think you should kept those in mind

Some of your boxes Aren't actually rotating. They are converging toward the same point.

So i suggest fixing on that would be great too!

Organic Perspective

The result doesn't matter here But those are still nicely done!

Next Steps:

The Exercise you submit is great try your best to fix those mistake i mentioned while doing those exercises as a warmup.

You should feel free moving on to 250 Boxes Challenge and i wish you best of luck!

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
