Isn't it another month progress check? Yeah, it definitely is. April was jfg( just fucking great). My ellipses are pretty good already. Circles are not as good as I'd like them to be but I'm gonna fix it. By today I have finished 150 pages of ellipses and circles. It's such an awesome experience. I'm glad I decided to do so. I also started a perspective course by Eric Olson(wish me luck) and all this month I'm gonna dedicate to learning this subject and most likely the next one as well cause it's not a simple matter to get a grasp of so easily. I'm good with drawing Don't Starve Together creatures, objects and other stuff. I'm gonna do something crazy ???? How's about drawing everything form TES: Skyrim for two months. I'm gonna learn how to draw characters. And i have no idea how to do it.I found a good course on drawing figures by Robert Marzullo. It should help me with my problem. I will just watch it time to time. I have way too much stuff going on rn to pay attention to other courses. It's gonna be hard. I just really want to draw something from my favorite game but just cause it's hard and complicated isn't a good-enough reason to stop me from doing such a silly thing. It's always good to try something new. Especially when u have zero experience and you can see the progress in days. I'm gonna start from easier things though like landscape objects and creatures(those, that are more related to TES universe). I'm so happy with the results in general. That month was really productive. May will be ugly I think. Btw, about the Charles Hu's course, I've started the third week but I didn't go any father than first lesson there cause I took a break from 14th April up to 23th April. I was watching Breaking Bad, lol. It's all, peace?

Ellipse Master Template

Ellipse Master Template

This recommendation is really just for those of you who've reached lesson 6 and onwards.

I haven't found the actual brand you buy to matter much, so you may want to shop around. This one is a "master" template, which will give you a broad range of ellipse degrees and sizes (this one ranges between 0.25 inches and 1.5 inches), and is a good place to start. You may end up finding that this range limits the kinds of ellipses you draw, forcing you to work within those bounds, but it may still be worth it as full sets of ellipse guides can run you quite a bit more, simply due to the sizes and degrees that need to be covered.

No matter which brand of ellipse guide you decide to pick up, make sure they have little markings for the minor axes.
