Hi, I can't answer for the pencil extensions, but I can tell you that is not required to have lines of different colors. You can use for the extensions the same fineliner/ballpoint pen you have used to draw the boxes.

Hi there! Oh, I thought using the same fineliner was bad because it would look confusing, so I assume you mean using the same fineliner with much more thinner line weight or something? Thanks for the reply!

That is a valid alternative if pencil is not accepted, but since Scoobyclub had no issues using pencils for the extensions, use what helps you better understand your angles.

Good luck with the challenge!

It isn't a requirement, but I think it does help to use different colours like in the lesson. I think I possibly used coloured pencils for some, cause my coloured fineliners ran out ,but they need to be kept sharp.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
