Great job! you have great line quality and your boxes are nice and shallow, with quite strong convergences, however I wanna note two things -

  • I'm not really seeing any more dramatic convergence of boxes (and while shallow is far more important, its good to practice these occasionally, aswell - in future warmups?)

  • While you are rotating on a few axis, I'm not seeing any more dramatic rotations, https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/678635364293935141/710409815968448542/35_degree_less.jpg take a look at this pic, looking especially at the second last outer ring of boxes, these show more dramatic rotations, and in future warmups I'd like you try something like these out (mind that you shouldn't copy these, just seeing them as a way to plot out your Y differently, to get more difficult to draw boxes, which will be more fruitful for your experience)

In summary, try more dramatic rotations of boxes, and occasionally some more dramatic convergence in your future warmups. Overall though, you did an absolutely great job in these, so keep it up!

Thank you for this critique, I have been waiting for another user to agree with your critique in order to turn in lesson 2 for review. How long does this usually take?

A lot of my students use these. The last time I used them was when I was in high school, and at the time I felt that they dried out pretty quickly, though I may have simply been mishandling them. As with all pens, make sure you're capping them when they're not in use, and try not to apply too much pressure. You really only need to be touching the page, not mashing your pen into it.

In terms of line weight, the sizes are pretty weird. 08 corresponds to 0.5mm, which is what I recommend for the drawabox lessons, whereas 05 corresponds to 0.45mm, which is pretty close and can also be used.
