Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes
4:28 AM, Sunday March 8th 2020
All of the homework from Drawabox Lesson 1. Please let me know if there's anything I'm doing wrong, or anything to keep in mind going onto the 250 box challenge. Thanks!
Very well done! The main thing I would look out for is rushing. It appears that you did better at ghosting from point to point in earlier HW's than in later ones such as the rotated box HW and the estimated perspective HW. Make sure to take your time and execute every line with intent and patience. Aside from that, your work looks great!
Next Steps:
Have fun with the 250 box challenge :D and make sure not to rush even if the sheer number seems daunting.
Very good to know! I will make sure to take my time in the box challenge so that each mark is treated well. The feedback is very much appreciated!
When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
