Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes

Homework are put in order.
on the rough perspective exercise, you wanted to plot your red lines to where the box convergence lines actually went, instead of where they should have went. You get more information by how well or poorly you did on estimating your convergence lines that way. Nice sizing on your organic perspective exercise, you can see the depth of the scene. Its up to you whether or not to redo the rough perspective so you can plot your lines the correct way, or you could just use a different color pen if you wanted.
For the rough perspective exercise, you were supposed to take the depth lines(the lines that are supposed to converge to the vanishing point), and link them to the horizon line. The idea is supposed to show that "close enough" can be sufficient.
Next Steps:
I think you only really need to work on the ghosting method for line making and perspective. You can do these as warmups prior to any instructional exercise you're following, or even just before drawing, and not even for a long period of time.
Other than that, get started on the 250 box challenge! I wish you luck on both that, and the rest of Drawabox!
Totally agree on ghosting method warmups. Sometimes, I leave drawing for too long and come back to it.
Thanks for the critique mate!
These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.
Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
