Lesson 1: Lines, Ellipses and Boxes
6:30 AM, Monday August 24th 2020
A couple things I noticed I had the most trouble with:
Ghosted Lines: besides overall quality, my lines fell short of the mark quite often. This issue wasn't mentioned in the common mistakes section of the homework/lesson so I was unsure of how to remedy it.
Ellipses (overall): as the degree decreased, it got harder to keep a smooth curve/line toward the narrow portions at the ends of the major axis. Again wasn't sure how to remedy or improve on it.
Organic Perspecive: I realize it's supposed to be difficult, but I was having troubles especially with the second step of drawing each box, which was adding the second set of lines after drawing the 'Y'. I think I was just overwhelmed trying to figure out their general direction and guessing an appropriate length.
Besides those things, there are other mistakes to be sure, but I have more of an idea of how to tackle them.
Thank you for taking a look and please feel free to leave a critique or guidance if you have any.
At this point in time, is it advisable to proceed to the 250 box challenge or should I return to the previous homework and redo some of them?
