Your lines look good, I just have a few minor notes: keep a look out for curved lines and try to draw from your shoulder more. Your ellipses are also good, a few of them are wobbly and don't hit the edges of the thing you're drawing them in so make sure you ghost them before you draw them so you're confident and draw them confidently and smoothly when your pen hits the paper.

Your boxes look great! The rotated boxes are a bit shallow, but that's not a big deal.

Great work!

Okay so, I'll break it down for ya in the three sections: lines, ellipses and your boxes;

1.Lines: Overall your lines look pretty smooth and you seemed to have nailed the ghosting technique to achieve good lines.

2.Ellipses: Your ellipses look pretty decent. I've noticed a bit of wobbly ones but always remember we're prioritizing on confident and smooth lines, accuracy always comes second.

3.Boxes: Your boxes overall are well-done, especially in the Rotated Boxes Exercise. It's a hard exercise but you kept all your gaps narrow and slightly more rotation would be nice. But since you've done the 250 Box Challenge as well I'm sure they would be better now.

Fantastic work! Keep it up.

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
