Thanks in advance to whoever has a chance to look at my work and provide feedback!
Dear ICEMAGE1233. I hope my English is not a wall between us.
Every your lines, ellipses ands Boxes i would say that is very and very good, but 1 small thing about your Ellipses. You cover your Ellipses more than 2 times, you just need to trust the teacher and follow his lead. There are many reason why about that, you wil understand in future.
As you see RotationBoxes Exercise is super-confused, but i have a few tips that can help. 1st: Every line of a new box will base on the nearest line to draw. 2st: Try to imagine your new box look like what if you rotate it, if you cant imagine how it work, you cant look at Teacher's Example Exercise (Trust me). In the future if you have more sparse time you can try it 1 more time.
Lastthing your work is done pretty well, now you are ready for 250BoxChallenge. Thank you for reading and have a nice day.
Hello Trecon,
First, thank you for your feedback. It really makes me want to draw more. Yeah about the ellipses i think its pretty bad but i'll improve it. The rotation boxes is pretty bad too and i am gonna do again after i finish this 250 challenge. Trecon thanks for looking at my drawing and give the feedback. I hope u can look forward towards my 250 challenge because i already draw 100/250.
Thanks a lot and have a good day
Thank you in advance for any feedbacks or criticisms! Any comments or suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Hey Icemage I took a look at your straight line exercises and wanted to let you know good work on these! You did a good job of prioritizing confidence over accuracy. The wavy line in the middle of the second page doesn't seem to have an obvious starting point so just remember to always start on the same starting dot and go from there. You did a consistently good job with that on the majority of your straight lines though. Occasionally there is some wobbling on your straight lines so maybe you could experiment with the speed which you are drawing your lines to see what works best for you. For page three you did a great job of drawing your lines confidently and not repeating any lines with issues! There were a few arching lines but nothing too concerning just remember to arch slightly in the opposite direction if you need to. Page four looks pretty solid as well always remembering to plot your lines and ghosting. Some wobbling here and there but not bad. I only see a single instance where you repeated a line that came out badly but you didn't do it anywhere else so good job! (page 4 diagonal rectangle second to bottom)
Hello trendel103,
Thanks for your compliment, i really appreciate it. About the arching lines, i am trying to experiment how should my hand holding the pen , to make straight line that make my lines kind wobbly. Thanks for your compliments and feedback it really improves me a lot and make me want to draw more. Right now, i am on 100/250 box challenge. Thanks for your feedback and have a good day
You're welcome! Nice work on the 250 box challenge I'm actually working on that challenge right now as well. For holding the pen I think you are doing the right thing by just experimenting until you find the answer for you. I had a problem where my lines came out faded originally and had to adjust to holding my pen more vertically so it sounds like you are on the right track!
Great job overall! Your lines are smooth, and confidently drawn. The only thing I would point out is that your ellipses are drawn through more than 2 to 3 times, but other than that, they are well done. Your boxes also look good, remember to always ghost your lines and don't re-draw any "imperfect" lines.
These are my favourite sketchbooks, hands down. Move aside Moleskine, you overpriced gimmick. These sketchbooks are made by entertainment industry professionals down in Los Angeles, with concept artists in mind. They have a wide variety of sketchbooks, such as toned sketchbooks that let you work both towards light and towards dark values, as well as books where every second sheet is a semitransparent vellum.
