I found these exercises a lot more challenging than what I anticipated but I feel like I have a very long way to go. I tried my best but I know there is a lot of room for improvement.

I also found the challenges very difficult, as I think modt people do, so you're not alone! I think it looks like you did a good job following the instructions.

Some advice I think is that some of the lines, especially during the rough perspective part, look like you may have lost confidence and slowed down because they become more wobbly and less defined. It's important to draw in one fluid wnd confident stroke from the shoulder at first -- accuracy will cone later on.

In your rotated boxes exercises, the corners of the boxes could be closer but I think you did a great job of rotating them!

would i be able to move on to the 250 boxes or do I have to re-do lesson 1? I just wanted to make sure im not like making a mistake in just moving on to 250.

I personally think you can move on to the 250 box challenge. I don't think you need to redo anything, just remember to be confident in your line making.

Next Steps:

Good job! Move on to the 250 box challenge.

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
