Appreciate the thorough and helpful feedback.

Rotation - my first pass was rough but once it clicked that it was more or less building and following patterns it was game on. Added the corners.

Organic perspective - you did pick up on the challenge that gave me the hardest time. I agree that I still have work here . Will be reviewing this content more for sure.

Thanks again!

Thanks for taking time and completing this exercise!

About Organic perspective exercise: I recommend to pay attention to the y-method and how edges converge as they go further from the viewer. But, again, i believe with 250 boxes challenge you will have plenty of time to experiment with those methods.

As about the 250 Box Challenge:

Next Steps:

I give greenlight to 250 Boxes Challenge.

Add these exercises to your warmup pool and don't forget about your %50 rule (I will advise if you haven't followed it, you should go ahead and pay your 50% play debt before the challenge)

Have fun!!!

I think the first 10 in the 250box challenge already has helped me. Not realizing that each "side" had its edges going towards their own vanishing point in the organic perspective really did get highlighted getting into the 250. It's not "great" yet... but at least the underlaying principles are becoming more clear. Still clear as mud but that's for the next 240 :).

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

The Science of Deciding What You Should Draw

Right from when students hit the 50% rule early on in Lesson 0, they ask the same question - "What am I supposed to draw?"

It's not magic. We're made to think that when someone just whips off interesting things to draw, that they're gifted in a way that we are not. The problem isn't that we don't have ideas - it's that the ideas we have are so vague, they feel like nothing at all. In this course, we're going to look at how we can explore, pursue, and develop those fuzzy notions into something more concrete.
