Hey guys :)

Thank you for stopping by :) I would highly appreciate any kind of correction, idea or critique :)

Especially the organic perspective gave me a hard time.

Have a nice day!

Your organic perspective is definitely better than mine. You seem to have the same arcing problem with straight lines though, they're very noticeably curved. Watch the elbow, that's what always screws me up. keeping the wrist steady is easier, the elbow is sneaky in my experience at least. :) Also, don't correct the lines you've drawn, even if they're wrong, keep them. Good job on ellipses, especially the funnel ellipses.

Thank you so much for your reply and advice, I truly appreciate it! :)

I will move on to the 250 boxes challenge now, so hopefuly I will have plenty of practice drawing straight lines :) I will definitley watch out for the mistakes you pointed out and be more careful :)

Best of luck! :)

Color and Light by James Gurney

Color and Light by James Gurney

Some of you may remember James Gurney's breathtaking work in the Dinotopia series. This is easily my favourite book on the topic of colour and light, and comes highly recommended by any artist worth their salt. While it speaks from the perspective of a traditional painter, the information in this book is invaluable for work in any medium.
