I've only just finished lesson 2, but honestly I already feel like Drawabox has helped me so much to get more comfortable within 3d space - I feel like I can more freely try out bolder/more interesting compositions and angles than before, and maybe I'm just imagining things, but either way it feels good :D playing around with textures in a smarter way than just hastily cross hatching was fun too.

Hi, thanks for your comment !

I didn't follow any specific course, but doing figure drawing exercises, live or with the help of online tools (see line of action for example) really helps. I also always take pictures of myself as reference when I'm having trouble with a pose, or find resources online (Adorkastock on Deviantart has a ton of those)

hope this helps !

Ohhhhh my gosh thank You so much, this is the stuff that's hard to find, just like with drawabox people never give a place to start. Thank you. Also only realized now but the inspiration for some of your drawings there are avatar the last Airbender, Ang and the gang adventure time (the marceline drawing) and Haiky?!!, Hinata there.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
