I was a bit lazy on the funnel assignment but I think I'm ready to move onto 250 boxes!

My only critique is about the funnels exercise, the centremost ellipse should be divided by the axes.

Next Steps:

Move on to 250 boxes

In general it's not bad... The lines are pretty, not wobbly or arching...

The ellipses have a decent "shape" but I can see you draw through them too many times (should be 2 ideally, 3 at worst), especially in the planes exercise.

The boxes are good... The rotating ones look good, BUT in the outmost layer the bases are definitely too far apart... It seems fine when you only look at the most visible faces, but not through them...

Next Steps:

You should probably get a little more confidence and practice with the ellipses (especially in planes)...

Maybe try to do both the exercises to find a more comfortable way to draw them until you're sure you can get them without drawing through them too many times.

I would probably re-do the rotating boxes to, it's good to look, but the bases are definitely too far apart... hatching and lines are good.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Thanks for the critique. I'll be mindful about the ellipses in the future, though I won't re-do the rotating boxes since you're not really meant to be getting it right, just to the best of your ability.

Like the Staedtlers, these also come in a set of multiple weights - the ones we use are F. One useful thing in these sets however (if you can't find the pens individually) is that some of the sets come with a brush pen (the B size). These can be helpful in filling out big black areas.

Still, I'd recommend buying these in person if you can, at a proper art supply store. They'll generally let you buy them individually, and also test them out beforehand to weed out any duds.
