Finished lesson one! I found some things tough like the ghosting meathod but I think I did decently. I used Pigma Micron 08 pens in the middle of ghosted planes. Thanks for reading

-The first exercise seemed rushed your lines fray too much on the other side, did you draw from the shoulder if yes i suggest watch uncomfy video on it and try again if you understand how it works you are good to go.

-your lines are a little wobbly but practice will make it better.

-You seem to miss the dots but i hope you will be making smooth lines joining both dots if u work hard enough.

-Your ellipses are wobbly too but you did the exercise right.

-Lastly i think you should attempt the rotated box again and understand the instructions before trying it.

That's all, Please critique my homework too so i can move on to 250 boxes.

In the superimposed lines exercise your lines are a bit too frayed, and judging by how your lines taper at the end I'm guessing you're going a bit too fast, if that's the case, try to slow down bit by bit until you notice your lines starting to wobble, when you get to that point increase your speed a little above that, and that should be the sweet spot.

Your lines in the ghosted lines exercise look smooth and confident, but If you're having trouble with accuracy try to spend a bit more time planning your lines before executing them.

Your tables of eclipses and eclipses in planes look decent.

The plotted perspective exercise looks good though some of the lines that should be perpendicular to the horizon line are a little angled, so just pay attention to that.

The over shooting lines in the rotated boxes exercise make it a bit hard to tell what's going on, but I feel like you understood the assignment so that's good (I've seen the follow up).

some of the Frames in your organic perspective home work lack variation in terms of the angles of the boxes.

All in all, I think you have a good understanding of the exercises so you're good to go! Just keep in mind that confident doesn't mean fast, you don't have to execute you're lines as fast as possible, find the sweet spot. I suggest working on you're ghosted lines and planes during warm ups.

Good job, and good luck with the rest.

These are what I use when doing these exercises. They usually run somewhere in the middle of the price/quality range, and are often sold in sets of different line weights - remember that for the Drawabox lessons, we only really use the 0.5s, so try and find sets that sell only one size.

Alternatively, if at all possible, going to an art supply store and buying the pens in person is often better because they'll generally sell them individually and allow you to test them out before you buy (to weed out any duds).
