Hi Connor! i hope you´re having a very good christmas. First of all, from now on you should focus on the confidence in your lines. They are generally woobly, and sometimes tend to curve. This is specially seen in the rotated boxes exercise, where the boxes keep losing their proportions (notice how the boxes on the other side of the first VP are different from one another).

The first exercise, the superimposed lines, doesn´t respect the instructions on making the first 5-6 strokes on a straight line, be sure to read the instructions and watching the videos before getting into the making of the exercise

I´ll point however, that in the organic perspective this confidence has improved, and your elipses are well done. i advise you to focus on the confidence of your lines and pay attention to the instructions.

Hi Pluto, thank you so much for this review. I apologize it took me so long to get back to you. I was able to take your information and advice to help me complete Lesson 2 and the 250 box challenge. 250 box challenge is posted to my profile and I hope to upload lesson 2 tomorrow.

My lines are much less wobbly (I attribute this to ghosting) but they still tend to curve a great deal. I even notice this curvature when I am ghosting. Any tips to help with this?

Hello Connor! i´m so glad to hear from you again. And regarding your curves, Uncomfy in lesson 1 recommends curving the line the other way around, says it helps you fixing the curve. But i think it´s more a of a matter of practice, just don´t worry too much and don´t hesitate.

Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.

The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
