This time I have tried to follow the directions as much as possible. The lines do got a bit past where they should go instead of falling short of where they should go.

Sadly things still aren't aligned with the Cross I had draw initally. I tried to keep things together towards the end but, things still looks 'wobbly'.

I think the boxes in general look slightly better this time.

I will follow through with the exercises more pricesily in the future.

In my last round of feedback, I pointed out two main issues (specifically in this diagram drawn on top of your previous work):

  • You were not drawing the corner boxes

  • You were making the "extremity" boxes (step 3) more complicated than instructed - all you're asked for is a simple basic square.

These two issues are still present. While you're no longer trying to play with the perspective of those extremity boxes, you're still drawing a complete box when only a square is requested. In regards to the corner boxes, once again they're not there.

So, here are the same issues shown on your latest work. At this point, I'm really focusing a lot less on the quality of your work, and more on whether or not you're following the instructions. I suspect that because you're still heavily focusing on quality of the end result, you have a tendency to forget the specific things I'm calling out.

If you're not already, I highly recommend both reading through my feedback immediately before doing the work (so it's fresh in your mind), and immediately after completing your work (to check if you missed anything).

Next Steps:

1 more page of rotated boxes.

When finished, reply to this critique with your revisions.

Yes, unfortunate in the previous attempts I was focus on the qaulity of the work. I also seem to have negelected the corner boxes in them. I was attempting to make the boxes obey a sphere; this time I tried to follow the exercise as close as possible.

My apologies; I will try to follow along as best I can from this point onward.

For a second I thought you might have made the same mistakes again - but it seems you uploaded the same attempt as before. Perhaps you scanned the wrong page, or uploaded the wrong file.

How to Draw by Scott Robertson

When it comes to technical drawing, there's no one better than Scott Robertson. I regularly use this book as a reference when eyeballing my perspective just won't cut it anymore. Need to figure out exactly how to rotate an object in 3D space? How to project a shape in perspective? Look no further.
