    Hi!

As far as I understand, if your homework got marked as completed, you can move on with the 250 boxes. The 2 agrees are only necessary to get the lesson completion badge on your profile. I have seen the same answer on discord as well.

I am not sure what I really meant by a Slavic art style. I think I was reminded of my childhood dolls or maybe picture books? Since I come from a former Soviet Union country, we had some stuff at home from that era.

Glad you are learning silencing your inner critic :) I am in constant war with mine

I like the face, something in its features reminds me of Slavic art for some reason, although I don't know any Slavic artists :D.

Also, I relate to your fears of posting art as a beginner, I definitely have a hard time posting any of my work on the internet, but I still occasionally do it, just to teach myself to stop worrying what other people think of me. Although whenever I post something (usually on the Instagram), I start to feel so much pressure and anxiety, I have to stop, or I lose the will to draw.

I fell less pressure to post on Drawabox, though, since I can tell this is a friendly and supportive community, which is especially evident on Discord.

It's also more than that - it's a hand-picked recommendation of something I've used myself. If you're interested, here is a full list.
The Art of Brom

The Art of Brom

Here we're getting into the subjective - Gerald Brom is one of my favourite artists (and a pretty fantastic novelist!). That said, if I recommended art books just for the beautiful images contained therein, my list of recommendations would be miles long.

The reason this book is close to my heart is because of its introduction, where Brom goes explains in detail just how he went from being an army brat to one of the most highly respected dark fantasy artists in the world today. I believe that one's work is flavoured by their life's experiences, and discovering the roots from which other artists hail can help give one perspective on their own beginnings, and perhaps their eventual destination as well.
