Hello again~ Here's my lesson 4.

I realized there are actually pretty bugs out there...although I still don't want to be in the same room as them. I struggled a lot with the shield bug - a little worried about what that may mean when I do non-organic stuff. D:

Hello Uncomfortable!

Here is my homework for this lesson. Discovering a lot of interesting plants in the process of doing this homework was a lot of fun. There are some really cool plants out there! Not looking forward to the creepy crawlies -shudder- but it should be an interesting challenge - if I did well enough to go on, that is.

Haha that's true. I just made it a goal of mine to get through the course during the summer - not by rushing, but by diligent work. Maybe I underestimated the time it might take.

Umm, I don't really understand what you mean by drawing through the ellipses. Could you clarify?

Hello Uncomfortable!

I return with my second set of homework, which I took much longer on than I should have. Not good. :( The reason being that organic forms were much more a puzzle for me than I initially expected. It made me want to keep pushing this exercise off. I kept wondering if I was doing it right even as I checked this subreddit and the website constantly. I was also slightly afraid to start the form dissections, but once I started the exercise ended up being the most fun out of the lesson.

Oh and a question. Although I didn't use a pencil, I did use white gel pen to fix some glaring mistakes. Is that alright?

Anyway, thank you very much for reviewing my homework!

Ah I see. Yes, after a while trying to micro-manage layers becomes a hassle. But I'm not confident enough yet with painting that I rarely combine layers. I hope to decrease this with experience. Thank you for the detailed response!

Hi Uncomfortable! Nice video, thank you for sharing. :D

Is this painted on a single layer? Do you usually prefer to work with only a few layers or as many layers as needed?
