Ok, I will do 8 more pages doing both. Any tips on how to get the proptions correct? I have the problem that after drawing the box I get some serious perspective errors which I only see later in the game.

I will try doing the thing with the form intersections.
But right now I just do not fully understand what I should do. I mean I understand it logically. Still something doesn´t completely add up. Maybe I´m really thinking too complex right away.
Edit: I think I got what my problem is. In my head once I try to break up what I see into simple forms, I´m beginning to see too much. Instead of breaking down a wheel into a simple circle, I see Spheres, zylinders and organic forms. I´m even visualizing what´s inside the wheel.
I didn´t do this 2 months ago but now it´s somehow automatic. And if I try to take a step back, I tend to go too far ultimately only seeing the space that my drawing object is filling. In a way I tricked my self into thinking I was doing form intersections.

Here it is. http://imgur.com/a/E2Glh
I find working with the box approach much more difficut in the beginning. I have trouble to judge the propotions and distances right. at least on things like cars. But I guess to fix that I just need to draw more.

Finally finished too. http://imgur.com/a/bHcqw
After I realised how difficult cars are to draw I only drew them. Some are good..some not so ^^ I´m thinking about trying to get really good at them. But first I have other things to learn, too.

Thanks for the fast feedback :)
I will do some more studys until I feel like I get the centerline right and then up to the next lesson!

Ok got the pages, and some more
I´m not sure I managed what you wanted from me. But hey I´m trying.
Btw the challenge of drawing animals lay ins everyday is going well. I´m gettin rather fast and precise. But I´m wondering if I should put more time into them. On a minute basis, how much time do you think I should put into each individual Lay in?

This was suprisingly difficult. Somehow the most difficult are zylindrical objects.

Finished :)
And here are some of the other form intersections.

Here it is. I think it would be a good exercise for me to do some more Lay ins. I´m going to challenge myself to do 5 animal Lay ins every day until the first of may :)

Hey, I finally finished the fifth lesson :)
Well, I´ve got a huge amount of drawings now. Hopefully this is ok. I´m not realy happy, but I will leave the critique to you.
Those were the first 8 pages I did, somehow I didn´t get it right and got rather frustrated. (At page 3 I even left a fish completely flat ^^´)
[I decided I needed some live drawings, those are from my parents house
After this I did more canine and cat drawings, trying out different things, I realised that I probably tend to rush the whole drawing and that my paper is not good for ink.
Got a new sketchbook and am much happier with my results.
And now I´m going to study some of virtualsoldiers work :)

There are so many strange bugs out there..
Anyway here are my lay ins
I tried to simplify more and more while going with the exercise. It´s actually kind of interesting.
Hopefully the Lighning is ok. It´s late here in germany and it´s difficult to adjust the flash of my camera in the right way.

Here´s Lesson 4 I´m proud of number 15 and 16 ^^
I had a ton of fun with this and drew a lot. 14 pages in total.
I´m looking forward to your critique. Some things I´ve noticed myself are for once that my Layins lacked volume and form. This resulted sometimes in very flat drawings. The more I´m tired and sleepy, the more this becomes a problem. Another thing is that I tend to mess with propotions.
I think I´ve gotten better over the lesson. But I still have a lot to learn

Understood. I will do some additional plant drawings on the side, too. Maybe I will find out myself what you meant.

So what am I lacking if I may ask?
It will be easier to improve if I know what I need to improve.

Sorry it took so long. I try to generally avoid Reddit if I have to learn for exams so i do not get to reply much. Additional to that I got sick last Friday. But I will try to be faster in the future.
Third( not best quality but my camera is shitty at that distance)
I´ve been using a farber castell PITT artist pen B type for the thicker looking lines. the thin lines are from a fine liner with 0.5 pencil strenght.

For some Reason Imgur doesn´t let me creat an album, so I have to post like this:

I tryed to do more constructional drawings like you said. Through which I somehow got faster. Maybe because I didn´t focus as much on a pretty result?
Still one question: Why is it bad if I use the ink like this? Out of my view point it forced my mind to recreate the form, to understand. So that I can realistically recreate the illusion of form.
One explanation I have for myself is because what I did, and the constructional drawings are completely different exercises. But I´m not too sure, that´s why I´m asking.
Anyway, thanks again! You´re are a great help. :)

A little bit late because of university and because I wanted to draw as much from life as possible.

You´re completly right about the felt tip calligraphy pen, it´s even a faber castell one, too! I´m loving it!
And is it alright if I ask you some more personal questions? I was wondering why you´re doing all this? I mean what´s motivating you? This whole sub has to be so much work, so I´m corious as to why you decided to help people like me.

So a bit delayed but here is my homework :)
I got a new pen and to learn how to use it and because I wanted to grasp the concepts I did a little bit of extra work. The pen has a different tip, which allows me more control wether I want thinner or stronger lines, but it´s more difficult to do a thin controlled line!

Thanks again for doing this :)
Here´s my submission for lesson 2. I kinda wanna do more as fast as possible, but I know that I need time to let the things I learn sink in and a little feedback to correct my mistakes.
Anyway I´ve also been doing lesson 1 exercises as warm up and I think I´m progressing. :D
Anyway, Go Lesson 2!

Thanks for the nice feedback :)
So I will do 2 further pages of exercise 1 and 2 and then I will start the next lesson. I´ve gotten a new, small sized sketchbook on christmast and I think I will fill it as a warmup with these exercises, just to look how my penmanship changes after enough practice!

To answer one of your questions I think it´s better to draw the circle in one smooth motion. As far as I know this allows you to do a more accurate and "whole" looking circle. Mainly because you´re creating little "breaks" in the line when stoping the motion ones
