You're right. I hadn't noticed I was doing such an awful job at using forms. They were just marks where I'd limit the drawing. I looked at other user's submissions and the way they were done was completely different (specially u/Qpen and u/nada00h).
Even now it's stressing trying to use them properly. I'm always afraid the proportions won't match up to the reference or it won't feel as 3d as it should.

Sorry, I commented with a throaway account by mistake. Anyways,
Finally!!! It took me 3 months to get this lesson done. College absorbed so much of my time that I could only barely draw in the weekends. I'm sure this means I lost a good portions of how little skill I've developed. But oh well, I'll try to finish the next lesson before my vacations end.

I can't believe it took me more than 3 months to finish this lesson. Limiting drawing every plant to 1 hour a day left all the plants always unfinished until a week or so. I should've given one sitting to each one.
Edit: Fuck shading. I can't get the hang of it. It stresses me that I have to focus so much for every single line.

Well, it's still not as bad as it'd sound considering we've still got all the critiques you've done already. I'm sure as hell reading what other people did wrong helped me realize I was making the same mistake and wasn't even aware of it. Hopefully no one wants Drawabox to become a 'How many critiques does it take to kill a Uncomfortable' quest.
And also I think from now until the 7th people are gonna get really pumped up in finishing the lessons. I've been stuck in Lesson 5 for months now but I'll at least try to get my last fix, yo.
