Rybar in the post "250 Cylinder Challenge"

It's been a bit since I submitted an assignment! Finished the last couple pages of this just tonight. I still struggle with lumpy ellipses and axis alignment, but I think I'm improving.

Here's my submission for the 250 cylinder challenge:

I see what you mean about both instances of adding detail; part of the problem is I run into the expression limits of a .5mm fineliner; I can't get any thinner, and adding weight heavier than what's there was too heavy handed IMO; I scrapped an earlier drawing due to this.

I'll remember to cap my forms in the future, in this case it was a white vase on a white background that ran off the edge of the photo, so my 2d observation got the best of me. Thank you for the thorough feedback, I'm really enjoying this course!

That very first page I actually did almost last, not sure how to control the order of pages on imgur. The quick turns were intentiional, was playing around with fin and wing-like forms.

Thanks for the excellent feedback, and for the resource you've created here. Simply reading through your other critiques told me plenty about what was expected and how to overcome any problems I had. I'm currently working on the 250 box challenge and lesson 2 exercises, alternating days. I'm having a lot of fun with lesson 2, organic, flowing lines are definitely more to my liking and previous drawing experience.
