I do have a problem especially with carving... since some insects head are rather unique like the wasp heart shape face. Using a circle or ellipse doesn't seem to work well. A cylinder will do better I suppose.

I will do my best and get it done.

A challenging lesson. I think the dragonfly is my weakest. I have problems with adding the shadow so I excluded it. (The ant shadow was particularly bad.)

The three pages.. or more like 4 pages. Though I do think some of 'my not getting caught up' slip in.

Homework for Lesson 3. I did as many as I could... The problem now is how to construct the shadowy shapes to emphasis the sunken in look of the flower center. I might need more work with my pen pressure?

Ah ok. I see where I went wrong after extending the lines. My inner cube lines (the far planes) usually converge way faster. Will prob do a couple more cubes and move onto lesson 2.

In a 3 point perspective the opposite y plane line could be slanted right?

Thanks!

Argh. There is only so many rotation of boxes you can draw before you ran out of ideas. Quite a challenge though.

Understood and thanks for the feedback.

The lines - I did lines quite a while back before I saw Drawabox. (Scott's book) - I started to guide my hand with my brain more when I find that if I don't, it will just curve upwards. I will do more regular daily lines exercise and work on letting my muscle memory do the work. (Don't ghost for the superimposed?)
