Out of curiosity what would you suggest for me to improve my lay-ins? And thanks, you're completely right about the hair. I noticed this problem some time ago but didn't know how to go about fixing it.

Sometimes i feel like the insects i draw lack enough volume and form. maybe it has to do with my lay-ins but i'll let you decide!

i don't know. sometimes i got too obsessed with making details come out just right.

woohoo! great to hear. i understand from your explanation where the perspective would become an issue in a scene with multiple forms, i'll have to ease the habit of exaggerated perspective i picked up during the 250 boxes challenge.

i actually had more fun with this lesson than i had expected. the form intersections really hurt my head at first but they definitely got easier after a while, though not even close to perfect. looking forward to your feedback!

awesome! i did try ghosting for some longer lines but maybe not correctly, from what I see in the notes. i'll be sure to use it when going through lesson 2.

i really need more work with pen control and preventing wavy lines.. a lot of practice ahead of me! sorry for the cut off boxes on some pages, i will have to keep that in mind when drawing on this paper.

I noticed that with the lessons i (and others i hope) go from unsure how to approach the matter to having it down to a set strategy. it's cool to feel the improvement directly that way in such a short time.
