NavrcL in the post "Lesson 5: Drawing Animals (Patreon Critique Thread)"

Hi,

Here is my Lesson 5 homework.

The construction technique is super useful for drawing animals. It's much easier and fun and the results look really believable and 3D. Honestly, I was afraid of drawing organic stuff and animals before but was amazed by how easy it is using the construction technique and simplified fur texture.

As always, thank you very much for your awesome lessons and critique.

Hi, here's my submission.

I have to say I was quite surprised how much easier drawing insects can be when using the sausage technique.

Thanks a lot for the lesson and critique!

Hi, here are my cylinders: https://imgur.com/a/VX5QJr5

I had some troubles figuring out the second part, but it started getting a bit better towards the end.

Anyway, thank you for your thoughts.

Thank you.

Yes, now I see the problems with arrows and ellipses degrees. Seems I didn't pay enough attention sometimes. Have to work more on that.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the critique and I'm gonna move onto Cylinder challenge now.

Hi,

here's my lesson 2 homework: https://imgur.com/a/cBy9Ef8

I definitely see a lot of progress with every exercise. Especially all the texture stuff is something I always was afraid of but the homework results surprised me a lot.

On the other hand the form intersections gave me a hard time and my brain's still having trouble figuring that out.

Anyway, thanks a lot for your critique.
