Thank you so much!
Now that you say it, I definitely see the issue on page 6. One question then: how do I avoid the issue without the result being too messy? Should I draw with a thinner pen first? Then go it with the .5 once the main shape is set?
Thank you again!

Here's mine!
Not sure if I did the lay-ins correctly at the start but I hope I figured them out a little later on.
As for the studies, I'm afraid that another month wouldn't be enough to actually do them correctly. Sometimes I felt like my pen was too thick and the paper was too small. Other times, I felt like the details were far too pain-staking to be able to accomplish. I wonder at what is the proper balance.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this!

Thank you so much!
It's definitely true that I was very nervous about the shapes and used the dark bold lines as a crutch to clean up after. I will try to be bolder in the future.
I am moving on to lesson 3 then!

Here is the Lesson 2 redo (all but the arrows). It's been a busy month and so it took a long time. I also spent a lot of time pre-drawing and sketching a lot of practice pages. It stinks but I'm not sure how much it paid off.
Hope it's better!

Thank you! Before, you said my arrows were ok. Should I redraw then anyway?

I think there's some improvement by the end, but I don't know if I'm all that satisfied with it. At the same time, I'm not sure if I could handle another 250 boxes just now.

Thank you so much for your critique. I take it that I am to redo everything except for the arrows once I'm done with the 250 box challenge?
I found that part of the trouble is that my .5mm pen has been running out, causing the very faint lines. I had switched to a thinner one that was still working. Should I then buy more of the 0.5mm?
Thank you again!

Organic forms in general were ok, I think. The problem there was lacking creativity but feeling like I needed to come up with more different shape ideas.
The dissections were again difficult because of lack of ideas. I wish I knew where to look for cool textures and cross sections. Instead, I just googled some random fruit I could come up with.
The form intersections had me tearing at my hair. The video did help. I just feel like it might take more time (days, weeks, months) to process. Also, for me, there's an odd combination of wanting to plain-out follow the rules but also to think through what I'm doing. Sometimes, I feel like one gets in the way of the other.
Hope it's at least mostly ok!

Thank you!
The problem is that I originally was not going to submit any of them and just try to learn on my own. But then I mustered up the courage to submit anyway.

Thank you so much for the extensive feedback.
Honestly, I was sloppy on the rough perspective and I really shouldn't have been. This time, I tried to go much slower and tried to ghost the lines. I know that technically, the result should be better, but it feels like it was worse .
I had actually finished lesson 1 last week but took a while to build up the courage to post it. In the meanwhile, I had already attempted Lesson 2. Could I post that? Or should I do the 250 boxes first?
Thank you again!

Finally got around to starting this for real. Here's my homework. I hope it's ok that it's on my blog website. You can click through each set of images.
Now looking at it all here, it feels like I didn't do enough. Should I get a new, bigger sketchbook?

Here's mine.
I had a lot of trouble with the proportions of some of these. Also, wings are a PAIN. Since I had done the plants with detail focus without a circle, I did that here too but then I was afraid that was wrong and tried to do it with a focus circle on the last one.
Insects are so much more difficult than plants >.< Also, I didn't used to hate them. Now I do. So so creepy.
Thank you for checking and sorry for the rant!
